Tradition and Culture in the Lower Val Rendena
Spiazzo, situated at 650 metres above sea level in the lower part of Val Rendena, is a village rich in history and traditions. The municipal territory, which also includes the charming hamlet of Mortaso, stretches between the valley floor of the River Sarca and the wooded slopes rising towards the surrounding mountains.

Spiazzo guards a historical and religious heritage of considerable interest. The churches in the area preserve fine works of sacred art and bear witness to the deep devotion of the Rendena communities. Spiazzo is about 12 km from Pinzolo and 35 minutes from Madonna di Campiglio. The village is well connected by the main road of Val Rendena and has the main services.
