Cima Payer dalla val di Genova

The trail

Cima Payer dalla val di Genova is a hiking trail in the area of Pinzolo, in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello Brenta Natural Park. The trail reaches 2995m altitude, in a high alpine environment. The ascent to the summit rewards with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Brenta Dolomites and Adamello peaks.

The total length of the trail is 12.4 km. with an elevation gain of 1415m and descent of 1500m. The estimated walking time is approximately 7h 6min. Altitude ranges from 1579m to 2995m. Difficulty and tips

The trail is of moderate difficulty, suitable for hikers with basic fitness. Sure-footedness and proper footwear are required. Some sections may be more demanding. Recommended period: July to September, when the trail is snow-free. In spring and autumn residual snow patches may be present.
