The trail

Cima Tombea con le ciaspole is a snowshoe itinerary in the area of Tione di Trento, in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello Brenta Natural Park. The trail winds through forests and mountain meadows, between 1129m and 1945m altitude. The ascent to the summit rewards with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Brenta Dolomites and Adamello peaks.

The total length of the trail is 8.4 km. with an elevation gain of 816m and descent of 114m. The estimated walking time is approximately 6h 6min. Altitude ranges from 1129m to 1945m. Difficulty and tips

The trail is of moderate difficulty, suitable for hikers with basic fitness. Sure-footedness and proper footwear are required. Some sections may be more demanding. Recommended period: winter (December-March), with adequate snow coverage. Check snow conditions and avalanche bulletin before departure.
