The trail

Giro dell’orizzonte - Itinerari della Grande Guerra is a hiking trail in the area of Tione di Trento, in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello Brenta Natural Park. The itinerary extends between 1610m and 2143m altitude, crossing stunning mountain landscapes. A historic trail following the traces of World War I, through trenches, forts, and military positions.

The trail is of moderate difficulty, suitable for hikers with basic fitness. Sure-footedness and proper footwear are required. Some sections may be more demanding.
