Lago Valagola da Mavignola

The trail

Lago Valagola da Mavignola is a hiking trail in the area of Madonna di Campiglio, in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello Brenta Natural Park. The trail winds through forests and mountain meadows, between 1100m and 1600m altitude. A trail offering views of beautiful alpine lakes, set in pristine natural scenery.

The total length of the trail is 10.0 km. with an elevation gain of 500m and descent of 500m. The estimated walking time is approximately 3h 30min. Altitude ranges from 1100m to 1600m. This is a circular route returning to the starting point. The GPX track available for download is official and verified.

Difficulty and tips

The trail is of moderate difficulty, suitable for hikers with basic fitness. Sure-footedness and proper footwear are required. Some sections may be more demanding. Recommended period: May to November, depending on weather conditions. Always check the weather forecast before departure and inquire about trail conditions.
