Chiesa San Tommaso

Chiesa San Tommaso is a historic church located in Strembo, a precious testament to the religious and cultural heritage of Val Rendena. The valley was evangelized by Saint Vigilius, Bishop of Trento in the 4th century, and preserves an extraordinary collection of churches and chapels of great artistic value.

Many churches in Val Rendena contain medieval and Renaissance frescoes, including the famous "Dance of Death" cycles — medieval depictions of mortality found in several valley churches.
