Darè

Quiet and Authenticity in the Lower Valley

Darè, at 560 metres above sea level, is one of the smallest and most peaceful villages in Val Rendena. Since 2016 it has been part of the municipality of Porte di Rendena, created from the merger with Villa Rendena and Vigo Rendena. The village, with its handful of houses gathered around the church, represents the essence of mountain life in its simplest and most genuine form.

What makes it unique

The charm of Darè lies in its intimate scale and the total absence of tourist frenzy. Here you breathe an atmosphere from another time, where neighbours all know each other by name and days pass following the rhythm of the seasons. The stone and wood houses, the small vegetable gardens and the surrounding meadows compose a picture of rare Alpine serenity.

Activities and experiences

Rejuvenating walks through the meadows and surrounding woods, cycle paths along the Sarca valley, outdoor life far from the crowds. Darè is the ideal retreat for those wishing to completely switch off from daily routine immersed in an authentic natural setting. The valley's services and attractions are nevertheless reachable in just a few minutes.

Useful information

Darè is about 18 km from Pinzolo and about 48 minutes from Madonna di Campiglio. The village is situated along the main road of Val Rendena, with easy access both towards Tione and towards Pinzolo.
