The trail

Dos di Laven e Cima Rive con le ciaspole is a snowshoe itinerary in the area of Tione di Trento, in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello Brenta Natural Park. The trail winds through forests and mountain meadows, between 1256m and 1881m altitude. The ascent to the summit rewards with breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding Brenta Dolomites and Adamello peaks.

The total length of the trail is 6.5 km. with an elevation gain of 625m and descent of 850m. The estimated walking time is approximately 4h 42min. Altitude ranges from 1256m to 1881m. This is a circular route returning to the starting point. The GPX track available for download is official and verified.

Difficulty and tips

The trail is of moderate difficulty, suitable for hikers with basic fitness. Sure-footedness and proper footwear are required. Some sections may be more demanding. Recommended period: winter (December-March), with adequate snow coverage. Check snow conditions and avalanche bulletin before departure.
