Cabinovia Grostè

Cabinovia Grostè is a cable car facility in the Madonna di Campiglio area, at approximately 1550 meters above sea level, connecting the valley floor to the higher elevations of the Brenta Dolomites. In winter, it provides access to the Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta ski area, one of the most prestigious in the Alps with over 150 km of slopes.

In summer, the lifts transform into convenient transport to panoramic trails, mountain huts and starting points for hikes and via ferratas. The views during the ascent span from the Brenta Dolomites to the Adamello glacier — the largest in the Italian Alps. Madonna di Campiglio has hosted numerous Alpine Ski World Cup races and was a favorite resort of Empress Sissi of Austria in the late 1800s.
