Cascata della Valletta Alta

Cascata della Valletta Alta is one of the most striking waterfalls in Val Rendena, located near Porte di Rendena, at approximately 500 meters above sea level. Fed by glacial meltwater from the Adamello-Presanella mountain group, the waterfall is particularly impressive during the spring thaw when the water flow reaches its peak.

The waterfall is accessible via well-marked trails within the Adamello Brenta Nature Park, the largest nature park in Trentino covering 620 km². The surrounding area is home to alpine wildlife including chamois, marmots, golden eagles, and the park is renowned as one of the last habitats of the brown bear in the Alps.
